Manuel J. Mejido, Ph.D., currently serves as the director of Seattle University’s Center for Religious Wisdom & World Affairs. His seventeen years of experience combining teaching, research, policy analysis and advocacy at the intersection of ethics and social development has taken him across the globe. Dr. Mejido has held appointments at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, and at the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development in Geneva. He has also collaborated with organizations as diverse as the Asian Development Bank, ATTAC, Centre Tricontinental, Fe y Alegría, the RAND Corporation, the World Council of Churches, and the World Social Forum.
