Jorge Medina

Jorge is a Bolivian-born Canadian scholar whose academic research interests are Hebrew Bible exegesis and Messianism in the Second Temple period. His PhD research will include a critical comparative investigation of the peculiar uses of the Divine Name in non-Jewish “Hebrew Roots” Spanish Bibles. He is excitedly working towards his ultimate goal of teaching and publishing at the graduate level, and inspiring other Hispanics, especially Pentecostals, to an academic pursuit. Jorge is looking forward to dedicating his intellectual life, spiritual devotion, and social concern teaching Latinx communities around the world.
