Preparing for the Conference

Complete your pre-assignments for your courses on Brightspace, and come prepared.

Please follow the HTI Norms for Civil Engagement during our En Conjunto time.

Dress Policy

Dress is business casual.  However, we will take a picture on Tuesday, June 23rd, so we encourage you to dress up.

Lodging

All rooms are air-conditioned and furnished with an XL twin bed, a desk, a chair, a chest of drawers, a mirror, and a bookcase. Each room is provided with a bedsheet, a blanket, a towel, a pillow, and a pillowcase.

  • Brown Hall: The bathrooms are private.
  • Erdman Center: The bathrooms are shared with one other room or are private.
  • Alexander Hall: The bathrooms are dormitory-style, so bring a robe and slippers.
Travel Logisitics

Arrivals

Once you arrive at Newark Airport (EWR) and claim your baggage, follow the instructions on the Transit from EWR.

Cancellations or delays

First contact Uniglobe at 800.825.7314 to make alternative arrangements. Also, email Suzette.Aloyo@ptsem.edu AND V.RiosValentin@ptsem.edu to inform them about your travel interruptions.

Late arrivals

If you arrive at EWR after 10 pm, use a ride-booking service like Uber or Lyft to the Erdman Center, 20 Library Place, Princeton, NJ.

Departures

A charter bus will be available on Thursday to transport everyone departing from EWR. The bus will depart from the Wright Library parking lot at 12:30 pm.

Check-In

Check-in for all rooms is at the Erdman Center, 20 Library Place, Princeton, NJ, located across the street from the Wright Library on the Princeton Theological Seminary campus.

Late arrivals

Once you arrive at Erdman, enter the vestibule to use the phone located to the right of the entry door. This phone will connect you with a security guard, let them know that you are checking in and need your room key.

Check-Out

Alexander Hall & Brown Hall

Leave the access card/room key on the desk inside the room. Bring your luggage with you to the Thursday morning class.

Erdman Center

Check out on your way to breakfast, drop the room key in the metal box located in the lobby by the exit door.  Leave your luggage in the baggage room.

 

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided during the PDC conference, starting with dinner on Sunday and finishing with a boxed lunch on Thursday.

You will be provided a nametag which must be used to get meals at Mackay Campus Center.

Expense Guidelines

Review and familiarize yourself with the HTI Expense Guidelines, HTI will reimburse expenses in accordance with the Internal Revenue Service regulations. These guidelines are provided to keep costs within reasonable limits and follow consistent reimbursement procedures.  All requests for reimbursement must be submitted within two weeks after the event (July 9, 2026).

Additional Information

Mask Protocol

Wearing a mask is optional, however, if you begin to cough, have a fever, shortness of breath while at PDC, please isolate and immediately inform HTI staff at HTI@ptsem.edu. Staff will contact you to determine how to best support you.

Water Bottle

We suggest you bring a water bottle to help you stay hydrated and protect the environment. Water fountains and coolers are available throughout the campus.
