María Monteiro

Lecturer in Church Music, Baylor University School of Music

Field(s) of Study: Church History and Missiology

Maria holds a Master of Music (1991) and a Bachelor of Music (1987) degrees in Music History and Literature, and a Ph.D. in Church Music (2021), all from Baylor University. She is married to Marconi Monteiro, Ed.D., a senior medical educator at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Their only daughter, Juliana, is a high school art teacher.
