Dr. Leslie Díaz-Pérez is a wife, daughter, sister, and friend who is passionate about teaching and learning. She brings decades of experience from the classroom to the pulpit, bridging cultures, generations, and abilities. From mentoring doctoral students to writing lessons and grants, she is committed to creating pathways that make education more accessible and impactful.

Her journey includes more than two decades of teaching special education in Chicago, years of pastoral leadership, and the launch of innovative programs for theological education and ministry. Currently, Leslie serves as Senior Director of Admissions & Enrollment and Director of El Centro at McCormick Theological Seminary. This is the place where she helps shape the future of theological education through recruitment strategy, program development, and partnerships that expand access for diverse communities.

Leslie thrives on connecting with people, whether she’s leading a Bible study, preaching, or guiding churches toward fulfilling God’s call in their communities. When she isn’t working, you’ll find her dreaming up her next project. She loves to laugh, learn, and uplift others with humor, wisdom, and faith.
