Biblical scholar born in Colombia doing contextual interpretation and interested in issues of migration and marginalized voices in the Old Testament. Did the Wabash Summer workshop and it changed my life as an teacher and opened my mind to pedagogy. A migrant of different denominations. Born and raised Catholic, M. Div in a Baptist institution. Ph. D with Methodists, and now teach in a Episcopalian and Lutheran setting.
