Biography: 

Heber was born in Chiapas, Mexico. Since he was very young, he has been involved in different religious activities, especially in youth ministries. While studying for his BA at Montemorelos University in Mexico, he had the opportunity to participate in a student exchange program in Brazil, where he appreciated the culture, language, and academics. In 2008 he began ministering in his home state. After two years, he moved to Michigan to study for his MDiv, completing it in 2013. He returned to Chiapas to minister for another seven years. In 2021, Heber returned to Michigan to begin his doctoral program in Church History. His deep desire is to serve people by providing opportunities to know Jesus better while using history as a powerful resource.
