Daniel F. Flores
Director of Cook Library, Assistant Professor, Western Theological Seminary
Dr. Daniel Flores is the Director of the Cook Library at Western Theological Seminary and an Assistant Professor. He is a third-generation Mexican-American and the son of a migrant agricultural worker and a civil service worker. He has over twenty years of experience serving churches and para-church ministries in Texas, New Mexico, New Jersey, Connecticut, Wisconsin, and England. He has taught theology and history courses in colleges and seminaries in the USA, Dominican Republic, Peru, Argentina, and England. He served as an endorsed military chaplain of the Texas State Guard with humanitarian missions along the Texas-Mexico border. Dr. Flores is a member of the World Methodist Council Committee on Education and the Oxford Institute for Methodist Theological Studies. He resides in Holland, Michigan with his wife Rev. Thelma Herrera Flores.
