Small Project Grant

DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this grant is to fund projects that address a specific question or problem related to teaching methods. The projects should involve activities that lead to exploration, discovery, and learning about pedagogical issues, or how to best teach students. The funds can be used for things like group meals, travel for project meetings, small stipends for participants, materials, and honorariums for guest experts. This grant does not fund general research, international travel, or the publishing of textbooks.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible, the grant must be requested by an accredited university, college, or seminary in the United States or Canada. The director of the project must generally be a full-time faculty member in the field of religion or theology at their institution. The institution must also show that they are ready to listen and respond to what is learned during the project.
