Biography: 

Jose Diaz was born in Mexico, and at age 15, he moved with his mother to California, where he learned English as a Second Language. After finishing high school, he returned to his home country. Jose studied at  Universidad de Montemorelos, where he acquired a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry and obtained a scholarship to participate in a Transition to Teaching Program. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education. He has 20 years of experience as an educator and has worked as a teacher and administrator. Jose’s research interests include rhetoric in the New Testament because he is passionate about teaching Biblical Languages. He would like to make an impact by introducing teaching methods developed by the study of Applied Linguistics. He is an Adjunct Professor at Andrews University and has tutored Greek to undergraduate and graduate students for the past three years.
