Rubén Arjona

Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology and Care, Iliff School of Theology

Rubén Arjona, a native of Mexico and an ordained Presbyterian minister, is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology and Care at the Iliff School of Theology. Before pursuing graduate studies at Princeton Theological Seminary, Arjona served his denomination as the executive secretary of the Board of Education, as instructor in the Presbyterian Seminary in Mexico City, and as a parish minister. Arjona’s research interests include the pastoral care of Mexican and Latino men, the intersections of pastoral care and liberation theologies, the care of couples and families, and the relevance of Erik H. Erikson’s psychosocial theory for a justice-oriented framework of care.
